Helen Baron - Independent Consultant
Helen is a Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years experience in the design and implementation of effective and fair employee selection and assessment systems. She has developed over 100 original psychometric tests and questionnaires, many groundbreaking. She has researched and published widely on equal opportunities topics as well as psychometrics and selection issues. She has a strong belief that fairness is fundamental to all assessment activity.
Kate Whalley - Director, KwC (Kate Whalley Consulting)
Kate Whalley is an experienced People and Change Management consultant. Previously at KPMG, she has spent the recent years establishing and growing her own consulting business. Kate has worked cross many industry sectors including media and communications, retail, finance, transport and central and local government. She has a degree in Psychology and is currently studying for an MSc in Applied Psychology. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, founder member of the BPS Coaching Psychology Group and International Association of Facilitators.
Tina McCarthy BSc, MSc, C.Psychol.
Tina is a chartered occupational psychologist with fifteen years' consulting experience, initially with the SHL group managing a team of consultants and for the last five years as an independent consultant working in partnership with a wide range of clients from both the private and not-for-profit sector in the UK and internationally. Her main focus is on the fair and objective assessment and development of individuals at work. She specialises in competency design, assessment and development centres, competency based interviewing training, team building events, leadership and management development programmes design and facilitation, and executive coaching. The majority of her work is with senior level and high potential managers.When offering executive coaching Tina aims to respond in a tailored way to the needs of each individual and will often use psychometric instruments and 360 degree assessments as a platform for a developmental discussion. Tina is BPS Level B qualified and is an active licensed user of Myers Briggs, particularly when running Team Building events.
Participants attending programmes co-ordinated by Tina will often describe her as a knowledgeable facilitator who has a very upbeat and engaging delivery style.
